Eli Ovits is a seasoned executive specializing in international affairs, organizational development, and strategic communications. He is the founder and lead consultant at Altruists, a global network that connects individuals and organizations with meaningful causes to amplify their impact. Through Altruists, Eli has worked across continents to raise awareness, build boards, design programs, represent philanthropists, and secure major support.
Eli’s previous leadership roles include serving as the first Global CEO of Limmud, a British-based nonprofit, where he expanded operations, its board, and donor base across 44 countries. He has also held executive positions at Jerusalem U (now OpenDor Media) and The Israel Project, and has developed global partnerships for the Joint Distribution Committee.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Eli serves as an ambassador for The Abrahamic Business Circle, an organization dedicated to fostering economic diplomacy and cross-cultural business collaboration. He is also the president of the U.S.-based institute Inside the Middle East and advises several international initiatives focused on education and interfaith cooperation.
Eli holds a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and National Security from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies from the University of Leeds.
