Michael Reiss von Filski, LL.M.

Michael Reiss von Filski, LL.M. is a distinguished Swiss executive and legal professional with over two decades of international experience in law, diplomacy, and strategic advisory services. He currently serves as the Global CEO of GGI | Global Alliance, the world’s largest multidisciplinary alliance of independent law, accounting, and consulting firms, encompassing over 900 offices across more than 125 countries.

Michael’s academic background includes an LL.M. in Corporate Law and a Master’s in European Law from King’s College London, complemented by a diploma in negotiation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His early career in diplomacy saw him serving in Rome, New York, and Buenos Aires, culminating in the rank of First Counsellor.

Beyond his role at GGI, Michael is the Chairman of the Association of International Law Firm Networks (AILFN) and holds board positions in various sectors, including finance, real estate, and luxury goods. He is also the Honorary Consul of Estonia in Zurich, representing the German and Italian-speaking regions of Switzerland.

Michael’s contributions to the legal and business communities have been recognized globally. He has received multiple international honors, including the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from former U.S. President Barack Obama.
